CHICAGO – Illinois' Governor Pritzker's "heart hurts" for the pre-born babies in Texas whose lives have been protected by a ban on abortion after a heartbeat is detected.
Pritzker is proud that Illinois is the most pro-abortion state in the Midwest, he wrote on a Facebook page Wednesday.
The US Supreme Court upheld Texas' ban on aborting babies with a detectable heartbeat by failing to stop a last minute appeal to stop the ban.
