By Nancy Thorner -

On Friday, November 26, 2021, a new B.1.1.529 variant was first reported to the World Health Organization (WHO) by South Africa and classified as a "variant of concern",dubbed the "omicron" variant.

The variant has also been found in Botswana and Hong Kong.  Experts in South Africa say they don't know if vaccines work against the variant. #eNCA

The "omicron" variant – which has a high number of mutations – alarmed health professionals due to its swift spread among young people in South Africa, although there was no immediate indication whether the variant causes more severe disease.

Early evidence suggests omicron carries an increased risk of infection compared with other highly transmissible variants, according to the WHO.

Why the chosen name?

The World Health Organization (WHO) confirmed it skipped the Greek letters "nu" and "xi" in naming its new COVID-19 variant.

Nu' is too easily confounded with ‘new,’ and ‘xi' was not used because it is a common last name, and WHO best practices for naming disease suggest avoiding ‘causing offence to any cultural, social, national, regional, professional or ethnic groups, a WHO spokesperson told Fox News in a statement on Saturday, November 27, 2021.

Attorney Jonathan Turley suggested in a Friday, November 26, 2021 tweet that the "concern is that W.H.O. is again avoiding any discomfort for the Chinese government," referencing Chinese President Xi Jinping.

CDC responds

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said Friday night (11/26/21) that no cases of the omicron COVID-19 variant have been identified in the U.S. to date.

“We are working with other U.S. and global public health and industry partners to learn more about this variant, as we continue to monitor its path."

Pharmaceutical firms respond

A number of pharmaceutical firms said they have plans in place to adapt their vaccinesin light of the emergence of omicron.

Pfizer and BioNTech said they can adapt their mRNA vaccine within six weeks and start shipping batches within 100 days if an escape variant is identified.

Johnson & Johnson said they were already testing their vaccine against omicron.

AstraZeneca is also already conducting research in locations where the variant has been identified, namely in Botswana and Eswatini,” the company said.

Moderna, in a statement Friday, said the combination of mutations in the variant “represents a significant potential risk to accelerate the waning of natural and vaccine-induced immunity” … READ MORE.

Rapid response from Biden

"It seems to spread rapidly," President Biden said Friday (11/26/21), telling reporters that he's decided "that we’re going to be cautious."

Joe Biden said the “Omicron variant made it clearer than ever that global vaccinations are needed to end the pandemic.”

The White House said that the U.S. will restrict travel from South Africa and seven other countries in the region beginning on Monday, with exceptions for U.S. citizens, permanent residents and for several other categories.

Dr. Fauci has his say

Deep State Dr. Anthony Fauci is advocating for quarterly booster shots to combat a growing number of Covid-19 mutations that are resistant to single and double doses of the currently available vaccines.

As Real Raw News source relates:  Fauci figured early on that the public would only buy into a specific variant for so long before becoming suspicious. He told us, point blank, a new strain had to arise every so often (3 to 6 months) so people would keep getting shots.

The proof, the source added, is in the pudding: “If this virus were truly becoming more transmissible and virulent, the vaccine manufacturers would be pouring tons of money into fighting the virus’ evolution. But this isn’t happening. And there’s not a shred of evidence of recombination among the population. It’s all about fear and money.

Failing vaccination strategy

Many Americans have already been vaccinated and boosted, often to comply with government mandates.  Will Americans soon be mandated to get shot #4, if Dr. Fauci gets his way.

The Biden administration was myopically focused on the vaccine only strategy.Remember, just months ago, this was a “pandemic of the vaccinated.” Then there was a large rise in the number of breakthrough cases that led to the booster policy.

The booster policy was based on 2 months of data and less than 500 people, instead of utilizing the EUA-approved cPass test that quantitatively measures the levels of neutralizing antibodies needed to fend off the Delta variant. By not following through with the vaccines to achieve herd immunity throughout the world, and by largely ignoring the safety nets of antivirals and other therapies until now, it essentially condemned the world to another variant.  This Nu variant is the achilles heel of that failed vaccination strategy.

Update of COVID-19 omicron variant

The day after the announcement of the variant on Friday, November 26, 2021, the South African doctor who first alerted authorities to the presence of the COVID-19, Dr. Angelique Coetzee reported: “It presents mild disease with symptoms being sore muscles and tiredness for a day or two not feeling well," Coetzee explained. "So far, we have detected that those infected do not suffer the loss of taste or smell. They might have a slight cough. There are no prominent symptoms. Of those infected some are currently being treated at home.”

Might the vaccines themselves be creating the variants?

Many scientists are stating the shots are creating the variants, such at pro-vax developer Gerritt van den Bosshe and Nobel Prize winner Luc Montagnier.

The senior pro-vaccine developer (he developed vaccines; he is NOT against them; of course, this is not a vaccine, but gene therapy) now turned whistle blower Geert van den Bosshe has written, "It may well be that it is the vaccines themselves that are creating the variants."  In late summer of 2021, he doubled down on that, giving a final warning to stop all mass vaccinations or we will unleash an incurable, unstoppable wave of disease.  Multiple sources for his letter of 28 July, 2021, including his own site here, or here.

If Geert van den Bosshe is right, the covid vaccine may be putting so much pressure on the virus that we are accelerating its ability to mutate and become more deadly, and why the covid vaccines may be creating vaccine-resistant viruses (similar to anti-biotic resistant bacteria), and why, because of previous problems with Antibody Dependent Enhancement, we may be looking at a mass casualty event in the next few months/years.

Nobel Prize winner in 2008 in medicine and virologist Luc Montagnier feels similarly, stating:  The vaccines don’t stop the virus; rather, they do the opposite — they “feed the virus,” and facilitate its development into stronger and more transmittable variants. These new virus variants will be more resistant to vaccination and may cause more health implications than their “original” versions. In his own words, the vaccine programme is an “unacceptable mistake…. a scientific error as well as a medical error.” He further explains that “there are antibodies, created by the vaccine, forcing the virus to find another solution or die.” This is where the variants are created. In fact, he states, It is the variants that “are a production and result from the vaccination."  See interview here.

The Reader’s Digest version of ADE (Antibody dependent enhancement, also known as paradoxical immune enhancements), summarized in PNAS here, that rather than enhance your immunity against the infection, the vaccine actually enhances the virus’ ability to enter and infect your cells, resulting in more severe disease than had you not been vaccinated.

Dr. Mark Dybul, a professor at Georgetown University, immunologist and CEO of Enochian BioSciences, is warning us to expect a fully “vaccine” resistant strain of Covid to start spreading in the spring. His solution, is, of course, yet MORE vaccines.

Are we overreacting to Omicron?

With natural exposure immunity and early outpatient treatment and when combined with no reports of increased lethality, the WHO’s reaction of generating panic toward “Omicron” is causing needless fear and panic.

So too with the Biden administration’s newly imposed travel restrictions, which will achieve nothing and will once again disrupt trade and violate human rights.

The WHO has said that the Omicron variant can spread more quickly than other variants. Likely true. The virus is behaving just like how viruses behave. They are mutable and mutate and via Muller’s ratchet, we expect this to be milder and milder mutations and not more lethal ones given the pathogen seeks to infect the host and not arrive at an evolutionary dead-end.

Moreover, there is no reporting of increased virulence/lethality of this new Omicron variant. As yet this will remain the case based on Delta and prior variants. There are no guarantees but we operate based on risk and all things point to the same for this new variant.

The virus will mutate downward so that it can use the host (us) to propagate itself via our cellular metabolic machinery. The Delta has shown us this: it is very infectious and mostly non-lethal. Especially for children and healthy people."

Conclusion

The latest from Dr. Fauci:  On Sunday, November 28, 2021, Dr. Anthony Fauci appeared on ABC’s “This Week” and said that the United States should be prepared to do anything and everything, including lock downs, to fight the new Omicron “variant” of the Chinese coronavirus.

Is the WHO panicking the world needlessly?  Is this Covid-19 February 2020 all over again?

The fear mongers are now declaring a new variant coming from South Africa where only 6% of the nation is vaxxed. YET only last week AP reported Africa was less affected than most nations that were!  AP report 11/19/21 here.

There should be concern but not panic.

And how convenient that the Omicron variant arrived just in time for the holidays!

As for the mid-term elections in 2022, may Omicron not be used as a means for Democrat leaning states to once again claim that mail-in ballots are the way to go.
