Mary-Miller

U.S. Rep. Mary Miller

ILLINOIS – Due to the Democrats' redistricting tactics and the loss of a whole congressional district due to population loss over the last 10 years, two Illinois GOP Congress members were drawn into the 15th CD.  The two will be facing each other in Illinois' June 28, 2022 GOP primary: U.S. Rep. Rodney Davis (IL-13) and U.S. Rep. Mary Miller (IL-15).

Friday, Illinois Family Action released the following endorsement of Congresswoman Mary Miller in Illinois' 15th Congressional District:

"We agree with President Donald Trump’s assessment that Congresswoman Mary Miller is the right candidate to represent the good people of the 15th Congressional District," said David Smith, executive director of Illinois Family Action.

"Mary is a proud and vocal believer in Jesus Christ, and her Christian faith guides her positions on moral issues. Mary Miller is pro-life, pro-religious liberty, and pro-marriage between a man and a woman. She supports a strong military, the opportunity for parents to choose home education, and she stands with the nation of Israel. Mary bows her knee to no one but Jesus Christ, and her actions demonstrate that she will always make sound moral judgments as to how legislation will affect the people in her district and the nation."

"I am honored to be endorsed by Illinois Family Action, and I will continue to be an outspoken and fearless fighter for life in the womb, parental rights, freedom of conscience, and traditional marriage," said Congresswoman Miller.

"Instead of having a favorite Bible verse, Mary Miller has a favorite chapter – 2 Corinthians 5," added Smith. "In that chapter, the apostle Paul discusses the idea of walking by faith, not by sight. Mary noted that is something she has always stressed to her children – that we live by the Word of God and the tenants of our faith, and not by our temporary thoughts or feelings about the world around us."

Referencing 2 Corinthians 5:9-10, Congresswoman Miller said she believes it is important for her and her colleagues to remember, “in light of being in politics, we need to not lose sight of who we are in Him. We must live by the Gospel and do what is best for our community and future generations."

"We were proud to endorse Mary Miller when she ran for Congress in 2020, and we are thrilled to be able to endorse her again in 2022," said Smith. "We remain in full support of her pro-life, pro-family, pro-Israel and small government values!"
