New Illinois is moving along to the next stage of pursuing the constitutional formation of a new state. On Friday, May 20, and Saturday, May 21, we will be holding the first session of a constitutional convention.
Friday evening will feature dinner and speakers including Rep. Brad Halbrook, Rep. Dan Caulkins, and keynote speaker constitutional lawyer KrisAnne Hall. Saturday morning will again feature KrisAnne and include a question- and- answer session and lunch. The afternoon will be a working session of our county committee representatives.
