I can’t believe I am writing this, but kudos to Democrat Nancy Pelosi for her courage and commitment to freedom and democracy. She bravely risked her own life by ignoring threats from China to shoot down her plane if she went to Taiwan and when she landed in Taiwan she publicly pledged her support for Taiwan and freedom. She nailed it when she publicly told Taiwan’s President Tsai Ing-wen that “America would not abandon its commitment to Taipei”. She correctly put this critical issue in perspective when she publicly said “Today the world faces a choice between democracy and autocracy”. The fact that she dared to go to Taiwan and support them infuriated China and they responded by launching massive military exercises with weaponized missiles over Taiwanese waters. That is an act of war.
Sadly while Democrat Speaker Pelosi showed courage and stood for freedom against China, Democrat President Joe Biden and our military leaders did not have that courage and recommended that Pelosi not go to Taiwan. Speaker Pelosi provided them a “Profile in Courage” that they and the world needs.
Communist China is the “Nazi Germany” of our time that has over a million religious people in concentration camps which they use to destroy American jobs through cheap labor. They broke their 50 year promise to keep Hong Kong free and basically enslaved Hong Kong. They have repeatedly and openly said that Taiwan belongs to them and is not a free nation even though Taiwan has been an independent country since 1949. On top of that, China has publicly told the world that their goal is to rule the global economy as they steal hundreds of billions of dollars of US technology to do so. Incredibly, American corporations have sent millions of US jobs and their critical technology to China in order to make more profits with China while putting our freedom and independence at risk. Those naïve and greedy corporations have made America and much of the world dependent on Chinese made medicine, solar and wind power, and other critical products that could shut down our economy if China stopped making them for us.
Thank goodness Nancy Pelosi has publicly exposed the massive threat that communist China represents to the entire free world. Not only should we stand strong with Taiwan and help protect their freedom, every moral American who loves freedom should avoid buying any products made in communist China by their slave labor. If we do that, we can defeat China and protect America without firing a shot!!!
