Dear Friends and Neighbors in our 14th District,
My name is Jim Marter, and I am running for US CONGRESS in the 14th DISTRICT to represent you. My beautiful wife Jill and I have been married 38 years. We are blessed with our four children and grandchildren. Our children were raised right here in the 14th and our grandchildren live here. I am fighting for my children and grandchildren and yours.
I love America and our freedom. We need to defend and preserve it for future generations. I’m in the race for the same reasons that matter to you, to protect LIFE, LIBERTY, and the Pursuit of Happiness. These are the foundation of our American principles!
Rep. Lauren Underwood does not agree with these principles. She votes 100% with the Democrats & BIDEN, she’s a friend and cohort of the SQUAD. With Underwood and Biden, our nation and values are under assault. Much of what our government does stands in the way of a prosperous and free future. In Congress, I will fight for your God-given rights and be relentless at cutting the size and scope of the federal government. With the right policies and unwavering commitment, we can unleash the economy, secure our nation, and advance the American Dream, and Make America Great Again!
I am a Conservative Republican who’s been on the front lines. I have established my credentials as a hard working Republican leader, three times elected 1 Kendall County Republican Chairman in the heart of the new 14th. Under my leadership, my county’s Rep. candidates have winning records even in tough years we’ve elected many new Republicans! I am a 2024 Presidential Delegate for Donald J. Trump in the 14th Congressional District. I serve on the RCCA (Rep. County Chairman’s Association), as the Regional VP for Collar Counties. In 2020 I was selected as the Illinois 14th District Presidential Elector by the 14th GOP State Central Committeewoman as well as served in the role of Deputy for the 14th Congressional District on the ILGOP State Central Committee. The Democrat party has moved far to the extreme left, Rep. Underwood is one of them. They are big government socialists that threaten your financial security, freedom, and your children’s and grandchildren’s well–being! I can beat Underwood, because
Rep. Underwood has failed:
- To keep America Safe and secure the border while she served on Homeland Security Committee. She doesn’t recognize the invasion of illegal aliens through our southern border and doesn’t believe that children and women are victims of sexual abuse and human trafficking.
- To denounce anti-American statements and antisemitism by Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and other comrades, she refuses to condemn the Hamas terrorists, and stands by groups like Chicago BLM who is openly supporting them.
- The business community and fueled Inflation on the American Worker with her support of the out-of control spending in Washington, and the shuttering of our energy sector
My plan is simple. - Set our economy on a firm foundation of growth. Dismantle the Biden policies that have robbed us of our energy independence and bring American energy back and stop the policies fueling inflation. • Protect our rights and Freedoms: Secure our border, protect our votes, individual liberty, and medical choice from the assault of mandates, and protect parents’ rights for their children in our schools. • Stop out-of-control spending of our political class which is robbing future generations of the American Dream. In Congress, I will be relentless in my efforts to reduce the size and scope of the federal government. I will fight to end government waste, fraud, abuse and believe that government should live within a balanced budget, just like the working people, we the people, who pay for it. I will work to allow you and all Americans to KEEP more of your income and wealth, by reducing rates for all taxpayers, you EARNED it!
- Stop the Invasion at our Southern Border, busloads of illegals are being dropped right here in the 14th District. They are out pan-handling in the district. People of the 14th District are rightly concerned.
- I will not support any form of Amnesty for Illegal aliens. I support Constitutional and Limited immigration, including all of the following:
- 1. Build / Finish the wall,
- 2. Enforce existing Immigration law, deport illegal immigrant when detained.
- 3. End catch-and-release.
- 4. Require law enforcement to report to ICE.
- 5. No DACA and No Amnesty.
- 6. End LBJ’s Chain migration.
- 7. End the practice of birthright citizenship for illegal aliens and foreign visitors.
- 8. End sanctuary cities and States.
- 9. Mandate E-Verify for all employers and enforce the law against employers breaking it.
- I am running for US CONGRESS to protect LIFE, LIBERTY, and the Pursuit of Happiness. I will defend our values, to SAVE America and the America Dream.
