A visibly agitated, confused and low-energy President Joe Biden, who spoke in a raspy whisper, struggled during the first presidential debate of the 2024 election cycle with former President Donald Trump – appearing confused and angry at times – as the ailing president’s deteriorating health was on full display during Thursday’s 90-minute debate.

During the 90-minute debate, Biden coughed several times and appeared frail – sparking even more concerns as an overwhelming majority of Americans remain worried about Biden’s mental fitness to handle the job as president.

In 1988, then U.S. Sen. Joe Biden suffered two life-threatening brain aneurysms that required life-saving surgery, and many health experts, including former White House Physician and U.S. Rep. Ronny Jackson believes that as a result, Biden suffers from long term damage. “The press should be asking the president’s physician – tell us what the consequences of those two brain aneurysms were and do they have anything to do with what we’re seeing today?” A few days ago, Jackson called for Biden to take a drug test before the debate – a call that was ignored by Biden and his team.

During the debate, Trump said he “aced a cognitive test” and challenged Biden to take a similar test, but the ailing president ignored the question and instead focused on challenging Trump to a game of golf.

The highly anticipated discussion focused on issues facing everyday Americans: high inflation, the skyrocketing cost of groceries, the southern border, the migrant crisis and foreign policy. Trump also pushed the issue of a weaponized justice system and accused Biden of targeting a political enemy as the president called Trump a “convicted felon.” The comment drew an immediate response from Trump, who reminded Biden that his son was a “felon” – a point that left Biden stunned and speechless.

Trump used his time wisely, hammering Biden on his failed policies, saying, “We’re a failing nation – his policies are so bad and we’re closer to World War III and he’s [Biden] driving us there,” as Biden struggled to defend his record during the 90-minute debate. The former president also effectively attacked Biden on his open border policy – a policy that has allowed millions of illegals into our country, including dangerous and violent criminals. Biden was even forced to admit that minority communities – in particular, the Black community –continues to struggle under his policies.

Trump appeared strong and in command, while Biden appeared frail and weak. And towards the end of the debate, the White House was forced to admit that Biden is suffering from a cold – a point that they never disclosed leading up to tonight’s showdown – proving that his team was scrambling to try and spin this public relations disaster unfolding on live national television.

The next presidential debate is scheduled for September 10th.
