Early on Wednesday, MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell dropped by Mr. Barber of Chicago with an unexpected request: to shave his mustache – which he’s sported for over 30 years – so he could attend the Democratic National Convention at the United Center undercover.
Initially, the plan worked, and as Lindell made his way back to the hotel after his barber shop visit, a security guard at the lobby didn’t even recognize the famous MyPillow CEO without his signature mustache as he walked in sporting a hat and sunglasses.
A few hours later, FrankSpeech – the influential and conservative broadcast network owned by Lindell – emailed a message to supporters titled, “Mike Lindell Finally Did It,” and included a video from the barbershop.
“Mike Lindell finally did it. It’s been 30 years since Mike has shaved his mustache. But in order to go undercover at the DNC and deliver FrankSpeech viewers undercover footage, he finally allowed a barber to take a razor to his iconic ‘stache.”
By late afternoon, Lindell was reporting live on FrankSpeech from inside the United Center, and as expected – once it was discovered that he was undercover, the progressive liberal attendees went into full meltdown mode.
“THIS is why the DNC made it a focal point to feature social media content creators and grant them press-level access. Every one of us has wanted to call out Mike Lindell exactly like this. Grab some popcorn, it’s well worth it!!! He shaved his stache to be “incognito.” It backfired. DELICIOUS!!! #USDemocracy”
The DNC attendees appeared as angry and unhinged as the main convention speakers – with many of them getting in Lindell’s face and yelling or talking over him while he was trying to speak. But the MyPillow CEO took it all in stride, appearing amused by the whole spectacle.
In a scene that has gone viral on social media and has garnered tens of millions of views, Lindell approaches 21-year old Harris-Walz social media influencer Harry Sisson and asks him, “Hey Harry, have you had your free vasectomy yet?”
Over the weekend, it was revealed that official attendees at the DNC are set to receive a unique perk this week: free abortions or a vasectomy as Planned Parenthood Great Rivers in Missouri is deploying a mobile health center just blocks from the convention site. Vasectomies will be offered on Monday only, and the wait list is growing according to the New York Post and the New York TImes. Medication abortions will be available on Monday and Tuesday.
As Lindell made his way out of the United Center several hours later, he deemed the mission a “complete success,” posting, “The DNC visit was a complete success! We got the word out about tomorrow’s huge event exclusively on FrankSpeech.com”
The convention wraps up on Thursday as Kamala Harris officially accepts the nomination as the Democratic Party’s nominee for president.
