I have an expression when speaking to others about what’s happening to America and our people over the last few years since Joe Biden was inaugurated in January 2021 – and it’s called the “Biden Effect.” Things have been on a decline in many ways since his inauguration and there are so many examples to share that prove this point, but I’ll stick to just one for the purpose of this opinion piece.

Since Biden’s been in office many things in America are declining due his actions or lack thereof. It’s no longer America First, rather, it’s America Last and Biden has spent his time in office reversing the Trump policies which were good for everyone – including keeping us safe.

These Marxists’ want to fundamentally change America as former President Obama has said on several occasions and the corrosive effects are on full display for all to see.

Wake up America, we are under attack!

As we all know, under Biden’s open borders policy, millions have come across our borders without knowing who they are, their health status, economic background or criminal history. Just as with Cuba, when the Mariel Boatlift was done in 1980, Castro “allowed” 125,000 people to flee Cuba, many of those were people in prison.

And the same is happening today, I believe.

Recently I received a call to ask if I could see a victim of an assault which happened on Saturday, February 10, 2024, in the Rogers Park area of Chicago, which has historically been relatively crime free until now.

The individual was getting off of work around 7:00 pm when four thugs attacked him, knocking out one of his front teeth. He’s very familiar with Spanish speaking people and he quickly deduced that the men attacking him were from another country. And it was not Mexico.

It’s clear that Biden’s open borders policy is allowing bad people to enter our country and we are seeing the effects – and this victim is further proof. An open borders policy puts all of us in danger and we should be very afraid. The streets are no longer safe.

There’s no doubt that crime has skyrocketed in Chicago and area suburbs as a result of our sanctuary city and state status. And headlines are dominated by stories of migrants attacking everyday people and even the police.

Just last month, two New York City Police officers were attacked in Times Square by four migrants as video captured the migrants kicking and punching the officers in the head.

In Chicago, there has been an 11,000 percent increase in arrests of Venezuelans since Biden opened our southern border in 2021, and the crime situation is getting worse and not better.

This is just the tip of the iceberg unless people wake up! It’s time to save America and protect our people from more harm. And it’s time to restore law and order and vote Republican because our lives depend on it.
