On Tuesday, MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani took a break from covering the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, and stopped briefly in the Chicagoland suburbs to headline a private roundtable discussion focused on securing our elections.

The discussion, which took place in a private room at Gibsons in Oak Brook, was billed as a fundraiser to raise money for the Lindell Offense Fund – which is spearheading an initiative largely self funded by Lindell, that provides tools and resources to grassroots activists free of charge in an effort to secure elections in communities and cities across the country. To date, Lindell has over 300,000 volunteers, including in Illinois.

Giuliani, who served as personal attorney to President Donald Trump in 2018 and oversaw the Trump campaign’s legal effort following the 2020 election, spoke about Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, the Democratic nominee for vice president and his ties to China. Walz has visited China over 30 times, and he spent his honeymoon there following his wedding which coincided with the anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre.

The former New York City Mayor talked about his three visits to China, and how much he disliked those trips, explaining that it’s a terrible country and that the Chinese people are depressed. China also leads the world in the killing of its own citizens.

Lindell entertained the group with White House stories and shared his discussions with state Republican leaders and their reluctance to secure our elections. Lindell explained that his biggest opponents in restoring election integrity are not the Democrats, but state Republican officials – including an overwhelming majority of secretaries of state.

The My Pillow CEO remains a target of the progressive liberals, and his company has lost over $100 million in sales over the last few years as stores including Walmart, Bed Bath & Beyond and Kohl’s have pulled My Pillow products off the shelves in protest of Lindell’s election integrity initiatives and for his continued support of President Donald Trump.

Attendees included Republican national committeeman Dean White, chairwoman of the Will County Republican Central Committee Christina Clausen, IL GOP chairwoman Kathy Salvi and her husband Al, Mike Miller, Dr. Narendra Garg, Janelle Towne, Dr. James Economos, Terry Newsome, IR general counsel Scott Kaspar and editor-in-chief Mark Vargas.
