WASHINGTON – The National Republican Congressional Committee wants Illinois conservatives to know Nancy Pelosi is in Chicago Friday:

The most unpopular political figure in America is in Illinois today. The Chicago Sun Times and Politico reported that Nancy Pelosi is headlining an afternoon fundraiser for 4 Illinois Democrats: Sean Casten, Betsy Dirksen Londrigan, Lauren Underwood……and Brendan Kelly.

This isn’t the first time Nancy Pelosi has expressed full-throated support for the 4 candidates. She held a DC fundraiser for them last month, at which all 4 candidates spoke at length about bringing Pelosi’s radical agenda back home to Illinois.

Brendan Kelly has already been caught attempting to stay under the radar with his support for Pelosi.

3/26/18: “I think we need new leadership in both parties and that’s just how I feel and I feel that way because the way it’s currently going in D.C. has not served the people of Southern Illinois.” – Brendan Kelly

While Brendan Kelly makes a fool of himself maniacally hiding from Nancy Pelosi but also trolling for dollars in the same room as her, the other candidates aren’t trying to hide at all. If Casten, Kelly, Londrigan, and Underwood make it to Congress – Pelosi won’t have to come visit Illinois ever again. Her liberal agenda will be there to stay.

Kelly is the Democrat upon which Pelosi and her colleagues are placing their bets to beat incumbent Republican Congressman Mike Bost (12th CD) this fall in order to win back the Democrat majority in the U.S. House.

Among Chicago area districts, Congressman Peter Roskam will be welcoming Congressman Kevin Brady – chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee – to raise funds for Roskam next Monday in the 6th CD – a district Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton won in 2016.
