NEW YORK - During the Sunday morning political talk shows, one Republican presidential candidate said this about another: 

I don’t think he has the right temperament. I don’t think he’s got the right judgment. You look at the way he’s dealt with the Senate where he goes in there, frankly, you know, like a little bit of a maniac. You’re never going to get things done that way.

By now you've heard that it was GOP presidential nominee frontrunner Donald J. Trump taking a swipe at competitor U.S. Senator Ted Cruz – calling him a "maniac" for his outspoken critiques of Republican leadership and the president. Cruz is beginning to surge in the GOP presidential polls, and appears to be threatening Trump's lead. 

Cruz responded thus shortly after Trump's "maniac" agitation:
