“I appreciate how hard these county leaders work to serve their communities, and am honored to have their support,” said McLaughlin. “As the only candidate with experience covering all four counties in the 26th District, not to mention the only candidate with a proven history of cutting spending and lowering taxes, they recognize that I am ready to go to Springfield to fight for conservative reform on behalf of my neighbors in the 26th District."

The 26th District covers portions of Lake, McHenry, Cook, and Kane Counties. As Village President of Barrington Hills, McLaughlin represents areas in Lake, McHenry, Cook, and Kane Counties. As Chairman of the Barrington Area Council of Governments, McLaughlin serves communities in Lake, McHenry, Cook, and Kane Counties. McLaughlin grew up in Kane County, his business is located in Cook County, and he currently lives in McHenry County.

Today’s announced endorsements add to the growing list of Republicans, local leaders, newspapers, and organizations endorsing the proven reformer. A full list of the endorsements he has received to date can be viewed on his website.
