Trump’s Jobs Boom Skips Illinois—Thanks to Pritzker’s Tax Hikes

By Mark Weyermuller -

I'm on the lookout for presidential candidates. The big primary day now for both Democrats and Republicans is March 15, 2016, which includes the big delegate states of Florida, Ohio, and Illinois. That means all "the boys" will be back in town. I'm ready to get some new selfies and hear what they have to say.

Donald Trump will be at the UIC Pavilion on Friday March 11, 2016 speaking at 6:00pm. It's free and doors open at 3:00pm. More information HERE.

Ted Cruz will also be here on Friday first speaking at Governor Rauner's Ball downtown then heading out to the Northwest Suburban Lincoln Day Dinner in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. The first event is $500 and second is $120.

Heidi Cruz, Ted's wife is doing a breakfast on Wednesday March 9 for the City Club of Chicago. It's a $35 breakfast at Maggiano's on Grand on River North. She'll be speaking on "What would a Cruz Administration look like?"

John Kasich will be doing a townhall at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 35 Wood Street in Palatine, Illinois, free and open to the public. He is doing a fundraiser too but I don't have the details yet.

No word yet on Marco Rubio in the Windy City. He is scheduled for a rally on March 12, 2016 in Tampa,  Florida.

Chicago's Annual Saint Patrick's Day is at noon on March  12, 2016. Since this is rumor season, I'm telling people not to be surprised if Donald Trump showed up. After all, they expect be million people on Columbus Drive that Saturday dressed in green. Just FYI, the Grand Marshall of the parade this year is none other then Michael Madigan.

I dare say it's going to be crazy in Illinois leading up to Tuesday, March 15, 2016. Don't forget to vote!
