Pritzker Stuck at 5% in Key 2028 Democrat Poll, Exposing His Weak National Standing

By John Dyslin -

As a strong conservative, I occasionally hear some consternation from my fellow conservatives that Congressman Dold is not conservative enough. No, the Congressman will never get a 100 percent voting record from conservative rating groups. However, please, friends, keep in mind that the Illinois 10th Congressional District is not a conservative district.

In fact, the 10th CD's voter registration is at least +10 Democrat over Republican. In other words, in order for a Republican to win the 10th District he or she must peel off some Democrat voters. It’s a tough district. In the last two elections it has switched from Republican Dold to Democrat Brad Schneider and back to Republican Dold. Let’s not let it slip back to the far left Brad Schneider in 2016.

As American citizens, the single greatest threat to our freedom and prosperity is the Democrat Party. From federal takeovers of healthcare and education to judicial activism that undermines the separation of powers, the Democrat party has led the way in dismantling our founding principles of limited government, personal responsibility and federalism. While Democrats at the federal level have violated our Constitution over and over again, Democrats at the state level have run Illinois into the ground for 30 years and the Democrat stronghold of Chicago has become a national laughingstock.

Congressman Dold has frustrated the Democrats in two of the last three elections because he does appeal to more than just Republican voters. He appeals to Independent voters. And even to some Democrats. In order to win, he has to. The district cannot be won with just Republican voters. And, this is not to minimize Dold’s conservative credentials. He does have strong conservative votes in many fiscal and defense issues that face the country. He supports business friendly legislation, which equates to job gains rather than job losses. Dold works hard for all people and businesses in the District. He is held in high regard.

Over the years, I have seen the Congressman in action. I have seen him work with people, work with business leaders and area elected officials. He gets things done for the 10th Congressional District. Brad Schneider is nothing but your typical left wing hack. Schneider most assuredly will vote against everything conservatives stand for and everything America has stood for.

Any opportunity to keep the Democrat Party out of power is an opportunity to ensure a more prosperous future for the American people. The voters of Illinois’s 10th District deserve more than just a rubber stamp for the same types of leftist power grabs that have resulted in our Constitution hanging by a thread. America deserves better than another Nancy Pelosi speakership. This November, we must defeat the Democrats. We must re-elect Bob Dold.
