A notice made to resemble a press release from Illinois Policy Institute drawing attention to a 'hilarious trailer that mocks Illinois Policy institute's fake Madigan Documentary" hit media inboxes at 11:55 AM Wednesday morning.

The email - from a phony address "[email protected]" – linked to a video that has since been removed from Vimeo by a Illinois Policy Institute complaint, citing "copyright infringements."

UPDATE: Illinois Media react to video censorship … see below

Media and Madigan supporters' replies on Twitter suggested the clip was funny …

The email (and the reactions to the videos removal) is likely the first of an array of expected attempts to undermine The Institute's effort to publicize their new controversial documentary about Illinois' decades-long House Speaker, "Madigan: Power. Privilege. Politics"

The film – which has raised a furor among Illinois' Madigan-sympathetic (or shall we say -intimidated) media opens to the public tonight in Springfield, and will be shown at limited venues around the state throughout October.
