SPRINGFIELD – Former state representative Ron Sandack is returning to Springfield in 2017 – but now as a lobbyist representing the Gaido & Fintzen law firm, where he is a partner.
Sandack resigned from the Illinois House last fall when he became involved in an embarrassing internet “sextortion” scheme. Several people reportedly viewed a sexually graphic video featuring Sandack that was temporarily posted to Facebook.
Sandack will represent his firm that lists an array of topics they may address with members of the General Assembly and the governor – who Sandack often supported on the House floor during his service. The topics he may address as a lobbyist for the firm include education, labor, pharmaceuticals, racing or wagering and marijuana/cannabis:
