CHICAGO – "Welcome to the Resistance!" Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky (IL-09) told a group meeting in Evanston Wednesday night, according to the Daily Northwestern.
“Welcome to the resistance,” Schakowsky said during the meeting, eliciting cheers and thunderous applause from the crowd. “People are ready for the fight. I think what most people are wanting now is marching orders. ‘What do I do to participate?’”
The Daily Northwestern report mentions that Schakowsky is one of several Democrat Congress members boycotting the Trump inauguration Friday. It does not mention the "resistance" Schakowsky's husband was recently videotaped instigating against Trump and his supporters – an effort for which he and his associates took credit in this undercover video collaboration produced by Project Veritas. After this video began circulating last October, Creamer "stepped back" as head of Democracy Partners.
