SPRINGFIELD – Lawmakers are back in their districts for two weeks – providing local voters time to express their opinions before they return to vote on what Democrat and Republican leaders are calling a "grand budget compromise."

The word "compromise" is normally expected to mean opposing sides each give a little to come to an agreement. 

Public sector unions as well as are organizing and activating their members to urge "Yes" votes on the deal -
