CHICAGO – Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel's new non-citizen ID would be used for voter registration. The topic was center stage Tuesday night on Fox News with Tucker Carlson as he interviewed Chicago Alderman Amaya Pawar, who sponsored the City Key measure in the city council.
Questions were raised about the issue of Chicagoans registering non-citizens years ago when Congressman Luis Gutierrez encouraged a rally of immigrants to vote in 2006. Illinois Review wrote about it then.
