  1. The inclusion of Northwestern and DePaul in the top-10 of free speech violators doesn’t surprise me at all.
    I attended a speech at NU by Dinesh DiSouza some years ago, sponsored by the College Republicans. I was astounded to see, that Northwestern University’s administration appoints faculty advisors to student groups and had appointed a rabid lesbian activist teacher to be the CR’s advisor.
    Before DiSouza’s speech, she got up and gave a gay-rights, anti Republican harangue to the largely Republican audience.
    When I gave a speech on Chicago politics at DePaul, I was in the Political Science faculty office beforehand, and they all were making anti-George Bush comments, assuming that I was of like mind with all of them.
    Those places are intellectual cesspool and parents shouldn’t was their money on them — and the Federal government really should find ways of cutting off funding for them.
