Earlier this year, Republican candidate in the 3rd CD Arthur Jones was given airtime on CNN with Alisyn Camerata.

The segment starts out with Jones at a Nazi rally condemning the two party system as "Jew and queer" loving. He goes on to deny the Holocaust.

A group of Jewish Republicans call on the Cook County GOP Chairman to resign because he allowed this candidate on the General ballot.

  1. This whole thing is really a testimony to the essential impotence of the IL state GOP – particularly in Chicago and its adjoining suburbs.
Do you mean to tell me that there were no ward or Township Gop Committemen who bothered to put up a candidate – even a nominal candidate – against Dan Lipinski?
Here are the jurisdictions in the 3rd Congressional district:
The District includes the municipalities of Bedford Park, “Bridgeview, Burbank, Chicago Ridge, Countryside, Forest View, Hickory Hills, Hodgkins, Hometown, Indian Head Park, Justice, La Grange, La Grange Park, Lyons, McCook, Merrionette Park, Oak Lawn, Palos Hills, Riverside, Stickney and Summit, nearly all of Berwyn, Brookfield, Western Springs and Willow Springs, and parts of Alsip, Burr Ridge, Cicero, Forest Park, Hillside, North Riverside, Palos Heights, Palos Park, Westchester and Worth.”
So none of the GOP party committeemen and other luminaries had the gumption to put up a GOP candidate for Congress – in this reasonably moderate to conservative district – and an aging neo-Nazi just waltzes in there and gets the GOP ballot slot?
What a joke this IL GOP has become!
