Pritzker Signs More Than 60 Bills Into Law as Illinois Moves Further Left

CHICAGO – J.B. Pritzker – the Democrats' gubernatorial candidate that is running 20 points ahead of incumbent Governor Rauner in the polls – sent out an email Friday urgining Democrats to help Democrat Kwame Raoul is his bid for attorney general.

Raoul is showing 10 points ahead of downstate Republican candidate Erika Harold – and that's reason to help him, Pritzker says in the email:

We need an attorney general who isn’t afraid to fight back. Kwame has pledged to stand up for voting rights in our state, protect the environment against an EPA that refuses to acknowledge climate change, and advocate for a woman’s right to choose—no matter what happens on the Supreme Court.

Pritzker gives three reasons for conservatives to vote for Raoul's opponent Erika Harold:

  • Raoul would resist any effort to institute Voter ID – badly needed in a state well known for voter box corruption.
  • Raoul would fight for radical environmentalists over the state's beleagured coal and environmentalist-stopped natural gas industry.
  • Raoul would fight to keep Illinois the Midwest abortion dumping ground.

Pritzker goes on … providing the Democrats' take on Harold's conservative views – albeit it negatively skewed.

While Kwame will fight on behalf of all Illinoisans, his opponent, Erika Harold, seeks only to divide us. If elected, she will be an extension of the Trump administration, supporting its bigoted and hateful policies. She wants to deny healthcare to millions of Illinoisans, restrict a woman’s right to choose, and supports the Supreme Court’s Janus ruling, undermining our state’s labor unions. Harold even once said that she would place foster children in the home of child abusers rather than with a loving gay couple.

They're obviously worried about Raoul – who has introduced one radical piece of legislation after another while serving in the Illinois Senate representing former Illinois Senator Barack Obama's Leftist Chicago district.
