Skillicorn calls for review of pensions in light of suspended actuary Sharpe

Photodune-1195167-pensions-mEAST DUNDEE, IL – In light of the American Academy of Actuaries suspending Timothy W. Sharpe from membership for a period of two years for materially failing to comply with parts of its Code of Professional Conduct, Representative Skillicorn is calling for a recalculation and review of the 29 pension plans the Department of Insurance has named involving Mr. Sharpe.

Skillicorn stated, “Pensions are the biggest crisis contributing to the structural deficit in Illinois. These 29 municipalities need to immediately audit their pensions fund for the sake of the workers and taxpayers alike.”
