PALATINE – State Rep. Tom Morrison (R-Palatine) is still vigilant over the vote counting process – and hoping to maintain his victory over Democrat challenger Maggie Trevor. Democrat Speaker Mike Madigan spent millions – along with thousands from union-financed Conservative Party gubernatorial candidate Sam McCann – to defeat Morrison.
As of Friday morning, Morrison leads by a narrowing 457 votes:
