Illinois next to embrace universal healthcare?

CHICAGO – Democrat State Rep. Greg Harris isn't just any House member, he's House Speaker Mike Madigan's new Majority Leader – a powerful position. If the Majority Leader supports a legislative effort, there's a good chance a bill will make it out of Rules, be assigned to a Democrat-controlled House committee, and onto the House floor.

So when Rep. Greg Harris called last week for Illinoisans to "organize for healthcare as a right," it's a call that gets attention. With super majorities in both chambers and a supportive governor, Leftist lawmakers are emboldened for Illinois to head deeper into Leftist effort – such as universal healthcare.

At the federal level, Democrat presidential candidates are calling for Medicare for all, as are Democrats in the U.S. House like first term Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. New York is considering the option of universal health care for its residents. It isn't absurd to think Illinois could be next.

Harris is in my opinion, a deceiver and an immoral person who likes to buy favors with socialist freebies on the backs of the taxpayers. He knows socialism only works until you run out of other people’s money, but doesn’t care. His actions and newspeak !
The term “newspeak” was coined by George Orwell in his 1949 anti-utopian novel 1984. In Orwell’s fictional totalitarian state, Newspeak was a language favored by the minions of Big Brother and, in Orwell’s words, “designed to diminish the range of thought.”. Newspeak was characterized by the elimination or alteration of certain words,…
The reason you never hear Harris say financial responsibility or huge state debt, its the white elephant in the room but always totally ignored by those who like to vote for freebies to buy votes and the power that comes with it.
I believe these irresponsible actions are done on purpose to weaken the state and make the state constitution vulnerable… designed to create the installation of an oppressive socialist/communist govt possible.
You have heard about hooked on phonics; well there are none so blind as those “entitled voters who are hooked on freebies. Greed blinds as nothing else does….
