On Wednesday afternoon, we reported in Illinois Review that the 2246 aborted children remains were in a “secure location” in Will County. The concerned remains were found on September 3, 2019 in a deceased abortionist's garage in Crete, Illinois.
The abortions took place from 2000-2002 in Indiana, according to officials. They were found in the doctor's garage in separate bags with some type of labels with names and dates on each bags. The bodies were stored in 70 cardboard office file boxes.
Thursday the remains were moved about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday night to Saint Joseph County in Indiana. A news conference was held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. led by Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill with an update on the case. Members of the Indiana General Assembly joined him at the news conference, available for viewing HERE.
AG Hill explained the remains are now in Indiana in a “secure location” with the Saint Joseph County Coroner. The investigation will continue with no timeline given. Indiana law requires aborted children remains to be buried or cremated. Hill indicated they are moving towards a process for a respectful burial at some point in time. Few new details were given about the case.
