LOMBARD – Jason Brown, of the western suburb Lombard, was arrested Thursday for allegedly attempting to send financial support to ISIS, the Chicago Sun-Times is reporting Friday

Brown, allegedly the leader of the AHK street gang in Bellwood, is also known as “Abdul Ja’Me.”

The Sun-Times says Brown gave $500 cash three times to a person working confidentially with law enforcement. Brown, 37, understood the money would be wired to an ISIS soldier engaged in active combat in Syria.
