EVANSTON – State Rep. Robyn Gabel (D-Evanston) will be working to get her bill requiring 6th grade boys and girls to be vaccinated against HPV this Wednesday in Springfield.
Last week, an IR observer noticed that Rep. Gabel had received a sizeable donation in 2019 from Merck, the company that makes the HPV vaccine Gardasil.
Since then, we've found that a sizeable amount of Rep. Gabel's nearly $300,000 on hand in her campaign fund came from an array of pharmaceutical companies, from Novartis to GlaxoSmithKlein and Pfizer to PhRMA and Eli Lilly.
Her HB 4870 is scheduled to be heard in the House Education
