Whether it be The New York Times' “1619 Project” or the mobs tearing down statues of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, it’s clear that Liberals want to erase our history so we forget what America stands for.
But grassroots conservatives are fighting for America—and some of our elected leaders are too. To expose the Left’s blatant hypocrisy, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) introduced legislation banning the Democratic party from Congress and requiring them to change their name.
Why? Because according to Gohmert, "A great portion of the history of the Democratic Party is filled with racism and hatred. To avoid triggering innocent bystanders by the racist past of the Democratic Party, I would suggest they change their name. That is the standard to which they are holding everyone else, so the name change needs to occur."
It will take more than a resolution to preserve America. But winning on the policy and messaging fights is an important part of shaping our society.
