WHEATON – Illinois' first-term Congressman Sean Casten makes use of his Twitter feed to attract attention and express his controversial Leftist views. For instance, the meme above was sent out by his campaign Tweet account: @TeamSeanCasten.
Do his Tweets reflect the people of Illinois' once-conservative 6th CD? The Jeanne Ives campaign released a video Monday focused on voters' responses to Casten Tweets:
Casten's campaign responded with a few Ives' Tweets, saying Ives is "extreme … hateful … on the wrong side of history."
The N.R.A. NEVER forgets.
If Casten loses this election, he’s DONE, forever!
Even if Casten makes it, my guess is his district will go if we lose two seats in the census. One for sure downstate and the way Jelly Belly is chasing people away and Lightfoot’s nutty rules are inhibiting census taking, it might be another seat up here, too. If Ives wins, that will happen for sure! She could run for Governor then and this time she will the nomination and have a shot at defeating Jelly Belly, which Rauner never did.
Several of the voters in the advertisement are Republican Committeepersons.
Contrarian – We’d be interested in knowing more – do you mean Sean Casten’s ad or Jeanne Ives’?

Kinzinger’s seat will most likely be the one that’s cannibalized. Fingers crossed. #RINO
It looked like Aaron Del Mar and, possibly, Char Foss Eggemann in the Ives commercial.
