A Family Parade at Harvard Milk Days Should Stay Family Friendly

By Mark Weyermuller -

Another Sunday where several hundred people showed up for a corner rally and car parade at noon in Schaumburg, Illinois.  The theme this week was “Stop the Steal.”

The people here believe President Trump won in a landslide, but massive voter fraud tainted the election results. They met on the corner of Golf and Meacham Roads in Schaumburg, with plenty of free parking at the now-closed Macy’s Furniture Store.  Cars and trucks decorated with Trump flags circled the block.

P. Ray Ease-Lee was one of the many participants at the rally. She has a new radio show on WVON-1690-AM called the “Black Excellence Hour” on live Sunday’s 5-6pm.

This group will be meeting again on Sunday, January 3, 2021 for another rally at Golf and Meacham in Schaumburg, Illinois at noon.  There will also be a Trump rally at the Trump Tower in downtown Chicago on Friday, January 1, 2021.

Many Trump supporters are headed to Washington D.C. for a huge rally on Wednesday, January 6, 2021.  Many people believe that day could be a turning point in the election which many feel is still not settled.

One more big protest to end the year will be lead  by Father Michael Pfleger of Saint Sabina Church.  He had a similar march four years ago where 793 crosses were carried on Michigan Avenue, one for each person murdered in 2016. Here is my article: https://illinoisreview.typepad.com/illinoisreview/2017/01/wheres-weyermuller-marching-with-father-pfleger-and-rev-jackson.html

This year the event will be December 31, 2020 at noon at the Tribune Tower at 435 North Michigan Avenue in Chicago.  It will bring attention to the 887 people killed and over  4000 shot in Chicago this year. Here is a link to more information: https://fb.watch/2HuJnMKFt4/
