Obama Center’s Unpaid Black Contractors: A Monument to Progressive Failure

By Randy Rossi -

All of America got to see and hear Democrat President Biden create even more divisiveness and hatred across our country with his “disgraceful” speech in Georgia pushing his “Voter Rights Bill” which is an attack on our democracy and vote integrity and designed to federalize elections and take away state rights. You know things are pretty bad for President Biden when even ultra-liberal Al Sharpton seriously criticized what Sharpton called Biden’s “You’re going to Hell speech” that attacked anybody who doesn’t agree with his absurd, immoral, and unpatriotic “Voting Rights Bill” which will destroy our democracy. Al Sharpton publicly said Biden’s speech would not unite Americans and would turn off all Americans that were against his “Voting Rights Bill” who President Biden said were equal to George Wallace and Confederate President Jefferson Davis (who was a Democrat!) if they disagreed with him.

The NY Post did a nice job of describing President Biden’s horrific speech in their Editorial Board opinion piece titled “Joe Biden’s Disgraceful Lies on the Filibuster and Dem’s Power Grab Over US Voting laws”. Since they know that no Republican will ever vote for this travesty, Biden’s ultra-liberal  Democrat team are trying to force it through by breaking the filibuster rule which was designed to get our politicians to reach consensus instead of jamming through laws that can’t get at least 60 votes in the Senate. Every American should be outraged by President Biden’s attempt to destroy our voting laws designed to protect the integrity of our votes. The good news is that most Americans (including two Democrats in the Senate) don’t agree with President Biden or the Democrats that want to weaken our voting laws to give them more power.

A Gallup poll on August 22, 2021 also proves that a huge majority of Americans don’t agree with Biden. In that poll, 80% of Americans said that they support voter IDs to protect the integrity of their votes. That includes 95% of Republicans, 83% of Independents, and even 63% of Democrats who support voter IDs and vote integrity! That also includes 77% of all minorities who support voter ID laws. Minorities are the ones who should be most offended by President Biden’s attempt to delegitimize vote integrity. Basically what Democrats are saying is that while White voters can handle voter IDs and follow current voter laws, minorities aren’t smart enough to follow those same laws so they have to be eliminated. That is an insult to all minorities and the good news from that Gallop poll is that minorities fully understand how critical vote integrity is. Minorities are fully capable of following strict vote integrity laws and they support them!

It was interesting that President Biden compared people that agree with him to weaken our vote integrity with Dr. Martin Luther King. I guess that President Biden forgot that Dr. Martin Luther King said that we should all “Judge a man not by the color of his skin, but by the content of his character”. Dr. King knew that minorities love and respect our great republic as much as White people do and they understand the importance of vote integrity as much as White people do. It is an insult and racist to say that minorities can’t handle the same vote integrity laws as White people can. It gets back to what should be a simple rule of life, America should be based on a “Color blind meritocracy”. Dems are trying to get more minority votes by making them feel like victims. But once again that Gallop poll shows that minorities fully understand the critical importance of democracy and the need for vote integrity.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell also did a great job of attacking President Biden’s terrible and insulting speech when he correctly said it “undermines democracy”. He called Biden’s speech “deliberately divisive” and it was “designed to pull our country further apart” and it was. Biden’s goal was to create hate between people that agree with him and those that support our great democracy. Republican Mitch McConnell also summarized that well when he said “A president shouting that 52 Senators (all Republicans and 2 Democrats) and millions of Americans are racist unless he gets whatever he wants is proving exactly why the Framers built the Senate to check his power”. More proof of the incredible wisdom of our Founding Fathers!
