By Nancy Thorner -

"Truckers of the world, UNITE!"

The title is a riff off of Karl Marx’s famous "Workers of the World Unite!" proving that not only was Marx wrong, he was the polar opposite of the truth. WORKERS are revolting against Marxism.

That was reinforced in a January 31, 2022 article posted by Kurt Schlichter at Townhall.com. Wrote Mr. Schlichter:

But the real problem for the elite is that the actual workin’-class folks, who are usually busy workin’, are getting activated by the myriad assaults upon them made by our elite. It takes a lot to activate them politically. Look at those Canadian truckers. They would rather be trucking. Taking time off for protests – usually the province of parent-supported brats – costs them money they need. But now they have no choice but to stop earning and start making clear that they are done with the petty and not-so-petty oppressions of an elite that despises them.

Truckers unite in Canada: Truckers' freedom convoy to Ottawa

In Canada, one of the biggest revolutions is happening, and it's still not finished, but shame on the media for not covering it to call attention to it.   The event should be a headline story when there were up to 50,000 truckers and 1.4M people headed to the parliament in Ottawa, vowing to stay there until Trudeau resigns, or they give us back all of our freedoms and rights.”

At a Trump rally in Texas on Saturday, January 29, 2022, Trump praised the Canadian Truckers and called on Congress to rehire every soldier or Marine fired by Joe Biden over vaccine mandates.

The nationwide movement was launched in protest of a federal vaccine mandate that came into effect January 15, requiring all commercial truck drivers crossing into Canada to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. The federal vaccine mandate for truckers has already caused significant supply chain chaos, with delays and shortages affecting many regions across the country.

The mandate could result in a loss of 12,000 to 16,000 cross-border commercial drivers, according to the Canadian Trucking Alliance.

Convoy on route on Ottawa

The first leg of the convoy began its journey from Canada's west coast Saturday morning, January 22, 2022.  It was joined continually by more trucks and supporters, as the convoy makes its way east cross-country toward Ottawa, the Canada’s capitol, to protest a federal vaccine mandate.

In fact: Three separate convoys of truckers traveled along routes starting from British Columbia in the west, Newfoundland in the east, and Windsor, Ontario in the south, all departing at separate times so as to arrive jointly in Ottawa on January 29. 2022.

As the “Freedom Convoy” of truckers protesting Canada’s vaccine mandates rolled through southeast Alberta on Monday, January 24, 2022, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau slammed conservative politicians, accusing them of fear-mongering.

“I regret that the Conservative Party and conservative politicians are fear-mongering to Canadians about the supply chain, but the reality is that vaccination is how we’re going to get through this,” Trudeau told reporters who asked if the mandate policy could disrupt supply chains.

The Toronto Star reported the convoy drew “large crowds of supporters from across the region, many holding signs and waving flags.”

Also reported going on for hours:  Honk honk,  pic.twitter.com/JsrBVxhXaX  but  that’s not even the coolest part.

A 45-mile trucker caravan protesting the overreaching mandates is AWESOME!

But what’s AMAZING is that crowds of people showed up everywhere to cheer the truckers wherever they went.

Tens of thousands of people waited in temperatures below freezing.

Yet they showed up and brought their signs to show their SUPPORT for these trucker

A Guinness world record broken

The Freedom Convoy in Canada has just broken a new world record!

The trucker’s caravan is now reported to stretch 45 miles long.

It’s not a single file line either.

Truckers are taking up all the lines on every single major highway.

This is HUGE!

But we’ve only just recently figured out how big this organic movement has grown.

The Freedom Convoy currently measures 45 miles long.

Reports on the ground appear to suggest that this truckers’ caravan is growing every hour.

So just how big is 45 miles?

To put that into perspective that’s 40.4 miles longer than the previous Guinness World Record.

The previous record was 4.6 miles.

Truckers reach Ottawa on Saturday, January 30

Ottawa’s mayor says the city’s residents are “prisoners in their own homes” as the Freedom Convoy trucker protests continued on Sunday. January 30, 2022.

Leaders of the demonstrations vowed on Sunday to stay in the Canadian capital “as long as it takes” for the government to fold and withdraw vaccine mandates.

BJ Dichter, who is one of the organisers behind a GoFundMe page that has raised more than $8 million to support the convoy, said on Sunday their aim is create a “logistics nightmare” for the Canadian government and force it to repeal its vaccine mandates.

“Right now, yeah, it’s really cold, but we hang in there, the days are going to get longer and we take this block party and put it into overdrive,” he said at a press conference with only certain media outlets invited.

“We’re in this one for the long haul. We don’t have a time limit."

Where is Trudeau?

Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau and his family left their home in Ottawa for a secret location, the CBC reports, amid security concerns as thousands pour into the Canadian capital on Saturday in trucker convoys to protest vaccine mandates.

Nova Scotia prohibits trucks from blocking highways

Apparently, the Canadian province of Nova Scotia is taking proactive steps {link} to ensure their leftist government officials are not subjected to any protests similar to what’s happening in Ottawa or other regions.

Using their pre-existing state of emergency, the “Province today, January 28, issued a directive under the Emergency Management Act prohibiting protesters from blockading Highway 104 near the Nova Scotia-New Brunswick border.” [Announcement]

Some good news?

Happened Today in Buffalo New York. Plans for truckers to go to DC are in the works.

Facebook group “Convoy to DC 2022” has announced an American Trucker Convoy Protest that will start in CA and in end in D.C.

The date and time of the protest has not yet been decided.
