Pritzker and lawmakers are touting a one-time, $556 tax break for the average family, but full disclosure should include the $2,721 more in taxes imposed by them during Pritzker’s term. Subtract the temporary tax break from the permanent tax increases and government under Pritzker will eat $2,165 more of the average family’s income.
