It is amazing to see how selective the “Fake News” is when it comes to reporting what really threatens our great country. For instance, compare the amount of time the “Fake News” and Democrats spend discussing the danger of guns versus the danger of fentanyl. The CDC just released a report that showed that 105,752 Americans died from illegal fentanyl in 12 months from October 2020 to October 2021. What should really make you angry is that most of that fentanyl is made in China, purchased by Mexican drug cartels, and illegally shipped across our southern border. Fentanyl is the highest cause of death for people 18-45 in America. More people die from fentanyl than car accidents, Covid, murders, and cancer. Shouldn’t that be headline news?
Now compare the news coverage of fentanyl to the coverage of deaths by guns. While guns are tragically used to commit roughly 13,927 murders a year (2019 FBI Homicide Report), that is only 13.2% the number of deaths caused by illegal fentanyl from China. Most of those gun homicides are by handguns (10,258) yet we constantly hear the “Fake News” and Democrats irrationally attack what they dishonestly call “ assault rifles”. I say they “dishonestly” call them “assault rifles” because in reality an assault rifle can be put in automatic mode like a machine gun and they have been illegal since 1934. Real assault rifles are military weapons, not for sale to private citizens. But here is the really shocking news. Per the 2019 FBI Homicide Report (most recent data available), only 364 Americans were killed by rifles of all kinds in 2019. That means that rifles of all kinds kill only 0.3% of the number of Americans that are killed by fentanyl made in China!!! Now think about how much “Fake News” coverage “assault rifles” get vs. the amount of coverage Chinese fentanyl gets.
Fentanyl is not the only tragedy the anarchy at our southern borders is causing for America. The federal CPD (Customs and Border Protection) just reported that in 2021, 23 known terrorists were stopped at our border. How many did we miss? Considering that the feds have reported over 1 million illegal aliens have crossed our southern borders in just 4 months this year, this is a really big deal that will soon get worse. These illegal aliens pay the same drug cartels millions of dollars to illegally get across our borders and then those cartels use that money to buy and sell the lethal Chinese fentanyl that killed 105,752 Americans last year. Shouldn’t that be front page news? On top of that, those illegal aliens cost American tax payers $133.7 billion a year per a FAIR analysis. That’s a lot of our money!
Sadly, we must all deal with the fact that the “Fake News” is an enemy of the people as it hides the truth and promotes destructive lies that are used to hurt our great republic. It is every citizens duty to work hard to get the truth so we can vote intelligently to protect our great republic. Especially as we approach the critical midterm elections!
