When Something Is Right, You know It

By Dean White, candidate for Illinois Republican National Committeeman

Illinois is more than an ATM for political self-promotion for some, or a place of standing for others. It’s my home.

As an Illinoisian with deep family roots from the 1800’s, my family was in the obscure business of fences. Business was good enough, but I thought it could be something more, so I gathered good people around me to mentor me and I remained close to the customers delivering on the promise of quality and stuck with it. Thus, not so amazing, business grew and grew.

Succeeding in business like in politics requires the steadfastness of the values of hard work, personal responsibility, anchored in the deep belief of American exceptionalism and never forget who got you there. Like business customers, voters are more than our Party Pals, so I know the majority out there want something more than what they have gotten in the past.

The change voters are seeking is a leader, business smart, present, highly visible and principled, while always reaching out to listen, represent, and lift Republicans to be the choice versus the current leadership malaise of accepting the word “minority” as a permanent position.

The Republican Party exists in Illinois to win seats, win the majority, and advance a Republican, good government agenda. Anything short of that is political pandering, noise, and a loser position.

I am dedicated to the notion the voters know. They know it, sense it, feel it and are pummeled every day by the actions of our State Executive, enabled by us taking our eye off the ball hobbled as the minority, giving it all away to whatever mob shows up. This is on us, you and me.

It is time for a change for Illinois as I have gone everywhere I have been asked, and done anything requested, to stoke fires of change for Illinoisians to once again believe in the American Promise: Only in America, you can strive and be the best version of yourself.

The Republican Party is out of excuses, and it is time for change.

I am Dean White and thank you to all Republican Illinoisians who are taking their seat at the tables in all those visible and obscure, elected positions in Illinois to represent all the voters who are more than their pals, they are their community.

Elect Dean White, Republican National Committeeman
