Thank you to the 8th Congressional District Republicans for your support and work on a great National Win for common sense. However, local is always the game and our gains were few. Congratulations to Republican incumbents who won and those who flipped some seats.

I am stepping aside as the Republican Central Committeeman for the 8th Congressional District to focus my work as the Republican National Committeeman for Illinois.

Titles have meaning if there are results. This is why I’m narrowing to one position with one goal to focus on the Congressional districts as the building blocks for races up and down the ballot.

I look forward to meeting those of you I have not and thank you to those who serve every day in elected positions or serving their community because that is what Americans do, they serve.

The Party exists to advance its agenda. The majority is the goal and the gap is big. So, between now and later, the work is to close the gap.

Politics, ineffective, is a story of the who, a name, with a personal purpose vs a purpose for voters. Governing which is effective is the story of what. The policy, the goal, and the who that best aligns, to carry the goal forward to the voters all the time, not just at election time.

I leave you with the challenge I’ve set for myself. Build a base of common-sense policies, good government fiscal plans with the rationalization of services, removing the redundancies, supporting the less visible and challenged citizens, and effectively advocating and modeling, excellence.

America is the beacon. I love the USA. I love Illinois, as my deep roots have blessed me and my family.

Join me to focus on the work and close the gap.

God bless Illinois, and I look forward to the challenge,

Dean White

Illinois Republican National Committeeman
