For many years I have refused to endorse the secular affectation dating time as "BCE" for "before common era" or "CE" for "common era" because it tries to erase two thousand years of common usage of "B.C." for "Before Christ" and A.D. for "Anno Domini" meaning in the year of our Lord. It is an attempt to re-write history which is a crime against intellectual honesty based on a false notion of political correctness and inclusiveness.
