I am sharing a personal misadventure to in order to pay tribute to a special group of people that I did not appreciate enough before.
For the first time in my life in mid-August, I had to have emergency surgery at a hospital and there were rare complications later that made me go back to the ER a second time. I was very lucky to be a patient at a very good hospital with a very skilled doctors and terrific nurses and staff.
Before now, I did not pay enough attention to the challenges of health care workers who are both dedicated and kind. May God bless the profession of health care professionals and support staff and I think them for their personal kindess and vocation. Most of all I thank my surgeon Dr. J.R, Salameh.
