Just when you think the world can’t get any crazier, it does! First liberals and Democrats wanted open borders which would create massive chaos, cost American citizens billions of dollars and thousands of jobs, and is a direct attack on the rule of law and our national sovereignty. Then we shut down our entire economy because of Covid 19 which cost 40 million Americans their jobs and mental health and some dictatorial governors actually took away our freedom of religion by forcing us to stay out of churches but allowing us to buy marijuana as an “essential business” and allowing thousands of protestors to flood our streets to practice their constitutional right of peaceful protest. And by the way, those peaceful protests caused tens of millions of dollars of damage to businesses all around the country, resulted in the deaths of at least two police officers, and injuries to over 300 police officers around the country that risked their lives to protect the people and their communities from violent protestors.
Now these crazy liberals and Democrats all across the nation want to “Defund the Police”. That is the last straw and if Americans are naïve enough to quietly sit by and let that happen, chaos and violence will rule our nation. These extreme liberals and Democrats are either incredibly ignorant or are dedicated to chaos. And if you want to know how that movie would end, read George Orwell’s books “1984” and “Animal Farm”!
The driver of this “Defund the Police” insanity is the liberal’s accusation that the police are racially biased and that all the violence that we see is because of the police. These liberals/Democrats are using the tragic murder of George Floyd by a police officer as proof that the police are racist and a threat to the African-American community. There is no disagreement that what that police officer did was murder and unacceptable and he was fired in one day and arrested and charged with murder in just three days. The system worked. But using this tragedy as proof that police are the problem is gross dishonesty that is easily shattered by the facts. The problem is that much of the liberal media and too many politicians don’t have the courage to tell America the truth.
The truth is that the biggest threat to the African-American community is their fellow African-Americans. 91% of blacks that are murdered are murdered by their fellow blacks. Police are responsible for less than 0.1% of blacks that are shot and killed and 80% of the time that is because they were attempting to kill the police that shot them. Don’t believe that? Look at what happened in Chicago on May 31 per the liberal Chicago Sun-Times. On that day 18 people were killed in Chicago which made it the most violent day in 60 years. Over that weekend, a total of 25 people were killed in Chicago and 85 were wounded by gunfire. Not one of those incidents involved the police. The vast majority of those murders involved blacks killing blacks. Sadly, that is a national pattern. Even though blacks only make up 13% of the US population, blacks commit 51% of all murders and 60% of all burglaries. Who does the black community call when they are threatened by violence or being robbed? They call the police who come and risk their lives to protect them and the rule of law.
Again according to the Chicago Sun Times, there were 492 homicides in Chicago last year and only 3 of them involved the police. That is 0.6%. The vast majority of victims and perpetrators of those 492 homicides are African-Americans which on average are responsible for 91% of the murders of African-Americans. Therefore it is true that police are often in the African-American community. But they are there to protect peaceful African-Americans from violent and criminal African-Americans and they risk their lives to do so. Yet these libs slander and want to get rid of the police that spend most of their time protecting the African-American communities? Guess who would get hurt worst if the libs and Democrats were successful in “Defunding the Police”? The African-American communities! But if the police are defunded, the violence and crime will get 10 times worse all over America and violence and crime will explode everywhere. The logic is quite simple. If you reward bad behavior you will get more of it. Once murderers and thieves see that the police have been defunded and are no longer a threat to them, they will rapidly expand their crime all across the nation because police are no longer there to stop them. Does that sound like a good idea to anybody?
Let’s get to the root cause of this problem which most people don’t have the nerve to openly discuss. Why do African-Americans who make up only 13% of the population commit such a high percentage of crimes in America? Back in my criminology days, our professor told us that 70% of boys raised without a father live a life of crime and/or a life of poverty. Tragically today, 70% of African-American kids are raised without their father and too many of them join gangs because the gang leader is their “Father Figure” they never had. Not a great idea. Of course in our new weak politically correct world, anybody who exposes this truth to try and help the African-American community live better and safer lives is immediately attacked as a racist. What is the solution? The African-American community must bring back the beautiful concept of an intact family with both a mother and father that can provide a role model for their kids to promote civilized and good behavior. An intact family is the foundation of civilization.
Want to know how bad things can get if this insane “Defund the Police” chaos rules across the nation? Just look at the violence and chaos that happened when the police were ordered to flee from a Minneapolis precinct and a Seattle neighborhood giving these anarchists total control. Do you want to be ruled by gang leaders and drug cartels like Mexico is? If not, you better fight this insane “Defund the Police” movement with your voice and your votes!
