"Whoever you are, wherever you’re from. It’s what connects us. And we need that connection. We need the middle. We just have to remember the very soil we stand on is common ground," Bruce Springsteen said in the ad, which Kinzinger quoted.

"Common ground" is a term used often by those condemning the concept of property rights – an American foundational principle.

Congressman Kinzinger's Facebook post:

  1. DJT and Tulsi are the middle. They love their country and believe that female HS athletes shouldn’t have to compete against HS boys.
Kinzinger? He’s a radical extremist who is now shilling for a guy, Springsteen, who, three years ago released a rabid Anti-DJT song

  2. I hope the people in his district can find common ground in the voting booth at the next primary. Quislinger needs to live with his socialist Democrat friends in Chicago for a while. Will a conservative Republican in the 16th Congressional District please stand up?

  3. Donald J. Trump is a fraud, a con man, and a complete loser. He is a narcissistic racist who tried to undermine the results of an honest and fair election. He is a cancer on the Republican party. He is not even a conservative – he is an extreme right winger. Kinzinger is right to oppose him.

  4. What are you smoking Jim? You are a cancer go join the new Anti Trump Party we don’t want or need you! Trump was clearly the winner on election night. Fraud, a con man, and a complete loser he is a narcissistic racist you must be describing Joe Bidet.

  5. Note than whenever your orange messiah refers to minorities he always puts “the” in front of them. “The Blacks”, “The Hispanics”, almost like they are from a completely different species. But for some reason he never says “The Whites”. Hmmm…
Black NFL players who peacefully kneel for the national anthem are “sons of b–ches” but the overwhelmingly white group of seditionists who stormed the Capitol get love. “We love you. You’re very special.” If it were largely a black crowd Trump would have called for their execution.
Now do you have anything intelligent to refute this?

  6. The Republican party is much larger than any one person. It will take some time but eventually people will shake themselves free from the orange loser’s spell. Perhaps when the Republican party returns to sanity instead of indulging nosensical conspiracy theories and whack job garbage like QAnon I might consider rejoining.
Trump lost. Sixty of his lawsuits were laughed out of court, many by his own appointees. State officials, many Republican, certified the results. It’s better to analyze why the party lost the White House, and what must be done to win in the future, rather than believe a dimwitted con man’s rantings that have zero basis in fact.

  7. “racist”
Yet, DJT secured more votes (percent) from Mexican-Americans, African-American and Asia-Americans, in aggregate, than any other GOP presidential candidate since Eisenhower.
I’m Mexican-American. Voted for Obama 2x. Bernie in the 2016 primary. Tulsi in the 2020 primary.
And DJT voter in the 2016 and 2020 GE.
DJT is a cultural conservative and fiscal liberal who appeals to minorities.
And that’s why the GOP establishment is terrified. The GOP establishment prefers clueless candidates who are culturally liberal and fiscally conservative. Candidates like Romney
