By Mark Weyermuller –

“Why didn’t somebody  do something?”  These are words said by a nine year old girl at the Holocaust Museum in Israel some 30 years ago. That little girl was Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Her dad, the former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, had taken her to the museum.

She was the keynote speaker last Friday night at the Illinois Right to Life dinner in Lombard, Illinois. The event was called “The Leaders For Life Banquet.”

Unknown Unknown
Sarah Huckabee was President Donald Trump’s press secretary from 2017-2019. She is now running for governor of Arkansas in 2022.

This is what she was saying with her quote some 30 years ago: A visit to the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem as a child served as a reminder of what can happen when good people allow evil to triumph. The question now is "how are people allowing so many abortions to take place?

Huckabee spoke to the group of over 700 at the Carlisle Banquet Hall in Lombard, Illinois. The attendees sat in the banquet hall and outdoor tents.

Their mission: Illinois Right to Life is a non-profit organization that educates on the beauty and value of all human life regardless of a person’s size, gender, race, age, or disability.  They use a grassroots approach to build a culture of life in Illinois that welcomes and loves all human life from conception through natural death.

Attendees included current candidates for Illinois governor Gary Rabine and Darren Bailey.  Also attending was former state representative Jeanne Ives, Don Tracy the new chairman of Illinois GOP, Richard Porter, National GOP Committeeman, State Representative Tom Morrison, and Carol Davis from the Illinois Conservative Union.
