Recently, Republican Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida nailed it in his reaction to the bizarre “raid” on President Trump’s home in Mar-A-Lago Florida by the FBI. He released a tweet that said “The raid of MAL is another escalation in the weaponization of federal agencies against the Regime’s political opponents, while people like Hunter Biden get treated with kid gloves. Now the Regime is getting another 87k IRS agents to wield against its adversaries? Banana Republic,” DeSantis wrote. This quote from Governor DeSantis is a lot more complicated than it looks at first glance.
First, using the word “raid” is accurate as over 30 FBI agents demanded to enter Trump’s home while President Trump was in New York. This has never been done before in US history to a former president! The FBI spent several hours going into every room at his home including his wife’s closet and his office. They would not allow anybody to observe what they did or what they took. They did this despite the fact that Trump and his lawyers had been cooperating with the FBI for weeks/months and already gave them at least 15 boxes of records they requested. In my opinion, this was an illegal “fishing” operation in which the FBI was looking for information that could help disqualify President Trump from running for president again.
Governor DeSantis was far to kind when he said that the Democrat “Regime” weaponizes federal agencies like the FBI to seriously harm it’s political opponents (Republicans) while letting Democrats like Hunter Biden get away with massive illegal activities that cause serious harm to America. The FBI was perfectly OK with the fact that Democrat Hillary Clinton illegally wiped out 33,000 emails with “BleachBit” that were subpoenaed by the federal government. She also destroyed several “Blackberry” phones with a hammer that were also subpoenaed. Yet nothing was done by the FBI to hold her accountable. The FBI not only hid Hunter Biden’s “laptop from hell” which proved that he illegally made tens of millions of dollars from our enemies like Russia and China using his father’s political clout as VP, and it proved that his dad, the “Big Guy” got 10% of that money. They dishonestly said that stories about that laptop were “Russian disinformation”. Recent polls showed that anywhere between 4% to 17% of Americans who voted for Biden in 2020 would not have voted for him had they known about the content of Hunter’s laptop. If true, Trump would have won. The FBI helped rig the 2020 election against Trump by hiding information American voters had a right to know! Are you OK with that?
It is important to remember the role the FBI, CIA, and other federal agencies played for over 4 years to try and destroy a duly elected Republican president with the help of the “Fake News”. They supported the “Russian Collusion Hoax” bought and paid for by Hillary Clinton and the DNC for millions of dollars which falsely said Donald Trump stole the election from Democrat Hillary Clinton with Russia’s help. After the Mueller Probe (cost of $32 million) we now know that was pure baloney and not one shred of evidence proved any collusion between Trump and Russia. Then the US Inspector General said that two of the FISA warrants used by the FBI to spy on the Trump team were false and illegal. Then the FISA court itself declared that all four FISA warrants submitted by the FBI and used to spy on Trump were fraudulent and illegal. An FBI employee pleaded guilty to that fraud. Yet most Americans don’t know about this horrific abuse of power to hurt the GOP and help Democrats.
Finally, Governor DeSantis raised a critical issue that should scare the heck out of every American. If the Democrat’s phony and horrific “Inflation Reduction Act” passes, the Dem’s will add 87,000 IRS agents which they will use to vigorously investigate any American that supports the GOP and get’s into the way of their socialist goals of controlling every aspect of our lives. All the Dem’s have done and are trying to do is exactly what “banana republics” do to maintain dictatorial control over their people by destroying political competition and freedom of choice. All this horrific abuse of power by Democrats helps prove why these 2022 midterm elections are so critical. They are the American people’s chance to crush the Democrat’s “banana republic” and bring back democracy and freedom to America. These midterms may be the most important American elections since the Civil War. The American people have to give both the US Senate and House of Representatives back to the GOP to stop this horrible Democrat president and his “banana republic regime”!
