Former President Bill Clinton may have just handed Illinois voters a political earthquake.
In a recent closed-door deposition before the House Oversight Committee, Clinton admitted under oath that he brought now-Gov. JB Pritzker and his wife on Jeffrey Epstein’s private plane.
“I think that I had my first trip for the man who’s now the Governor of Illinois, JB Pritzker and his wife,” Clinton reportedly testified.
The revelation confirms that Illinois’ sitting governor flew on Epstein’s aircraft – a plane that has since become a symbol of the disgraced financier’s network of powerful political and business elites.
Clinton’s deposition is part of the committee’s ongoing probe into Epstein-related files. For years, Americans have demanded to know who traveled with Epstein and why. Now, the name of Illinois’ top elected official appears in sworn testimony.
The governor’s office has not provided detailed answers about the flight, including when it occurred, the purpose of the trip, or what Pritzker knew about Epstein at the time. That silence is fueling concern.
It also raises a practical question.
JB Pritzker is a billionaire heir to the Hyatt fortune. He has access to his own private aircraft and significant personal resources. Why would he need to fly on Epstein’s plane at all? That question alone demands a clear and direct answer.
This development comes on the heels of another troubling revelation involving the Pritzker family.
Pritzker’s cousin, Thomas Pritzker, who led the Hyatt hotel empire for decades, abruptly retired after documents revealed a long-term personal relationship with Epstein. The timing of his departure raised eyebrows nationwide.
Thomas Pritzker’s close association with Epstein was detailed in recently released files. Soon after those revelations, he stepped down in what many observers described as a cloud of disgrace.
Now, Clinton’s deposition appears to widen the circle.
Illinois voters must ask: what did JB Pritzker know, and when did he know it?
The governor has built his political brand on attacking conservatives and positioning himself as a moral authority. Yet when it comes to his own connections to controversial figures, silence seems to be the strategy.
This is not a small matter.
Epstein was convicted in 2008 for procuring a minor for prostitution. He later faced federal sex trafficking charges before his death in custody in 2019. His crimes involved the exploitation of young girls.

Any association with his travel network demands serious scrutiny.
Parents across Illinois have every right to expect openness from their governor. Children were the victims in Epstein’s crimes. That fact alone should compel full disclosure.
Instead, Illinois is left with unanswered questions.
Clinton’s statement may have been routine testimony in a broader investigation. But its implications are significant. It confirms that JB Pritzker flew on Jeffrey Epstein’s plane – despite having the means to travel privately on his own.
The question now is simple: will Illinois media demand answers, or will they protect a powerful Democrat yet again?
Illinois families are watching. They deserve answers – not silence.

Update: Gov. Pritzker’s Office Releases Statement:
“Governor Pritzker was asked to travel with President Clinton on two trips, once in 2008 and once in 2013. Neither utilized Jefferey Epstein’s aircraft, nor was he accompanied by that man or Ghislaine Maxwell. We understand that the GOP is desperate to deflect from the heinous accusations against President Trump in the Epstein Files, but this is a particularly weak effort to assign blame where there is none.”
