By Mark Weyermuller -

Some people have said I have the scariest yard in all of Illinois. How can this be? Halloween displays contains lawns full of witches, monsters, and skeletons, yet my yard seems to be more frightening.

I suppose it's because my Halloween display includes full-size figures of politicians. This year's centerpiece focuses on presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. They are separated by a large air-blown pumpkin with a sign that says, "debate moderator." Hillary is holding a cellphone – wiped clean, of course.

Elsewhere in the yard is President Obama with his teleprompter, Nobel prize, pen and phone.

Near Obama is Speaker of the Illinois House Michael Madigan, next to Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel. Rahm is holding a large dead fish from a rumored story that as a congressman he once sent a dead fish in the mail to a colleague for opposing his efforts.

There is a copy of the 3000 page Obamacare bill along with an interactive healthcare telephone for signups.  It's actually the "Scream Phone" with sounds like "We are watching you." In front of all is dead voter headstone.

We will be giving away the big candy bars for the first 100 kids that knock on our door Halloween night.

In front of our display is a slew of political signs, including several in support of Donald Trump for president. The General Election is next Tuesday November 8, 2016. Be sure to vote.
